MELAMINE DOORS AND PANELS

Like its bench-top counterpart (laminate), melamine is an inexpensive and adaptable material.  Melamine doors are made of moisture resistant core board/material and feature a low-lustre paper based surface texture that accentuates the depth of colour while retaining its hard wearing, low maintenance qualities.

To complement your chosen style, two melamine door edge profiles are available.  For a more modern minimalist look square edges can be used on all four sides of your doors and end panels.  For a softer look, vertical door edges and panels can be rounded (roll-formed).  Both edge profiles can be further accentuated using contrasting colour edging.

But what is even more exciting about melamine, is its price.  Melamine is a very affordable design and construction product to work with.  This makes it ideal for the budget conscious who want the look without the price.

And because of its popularity, it is also readily available.

As clichéd as it sounds, the only thing that limits you when designing with laminate and melamine is your imagination.
